For Stockton Steel, Renewable Technologies, Inc. (RTI) completed the design and installation of a 1139.2 kW DC roof mount solar photovoltaic system. The lightweight roof mounting structure designed for the installation of the 2560 modules on the manufacturing plant. This project was unique due to the fact we had to extend the bussing in the Switchgear. Working with Eaton we cut through the building wall attaching a electrical panel extension onto the backside of the Switchgear extending the bussing through the wall to perform the interconnection with PG&E. RTI also ensured electrical compliance by taking this retrofitted equipment through full UL recertification.
